Udupi, Sep 29: A group of men who were found suspiciously observing a police vehicle and later tried to flee from the spot were arrested by the Udupi police.
Vishwanath CPI Udupi and Gajendrappa PSI Crime Udupi and his staff who were on rounds, spotted a group of five persons looking dubiously at the police vehicle.
On grounds of suspect behaviour, the police arrested them and during interrogation found that they were in possession of five mobile sets and other electronic items which were said to be stolen.
They further disclosed their name as Ranga, Krishnna, H Kumar, Raghavendra and Kumar of Shimoga.
In this connection a case has been registered in Udupi Town police station.
