Harshad Chopra enjoys loyal fan following
Actor Harshad Chopra's time away from television didn't seem to have any effect on his fan following, especially girls. In fact, it has only grown with time.
And it was apparent at the launch of his new TV show “Humsafars” in Lucknow recently where his overwhelmed fans thronged Harshad.
The actor's macho look which he has accentuated with a beard for his role of a fashion mogul in Sony TV's upcoming show is not only winning hearts, but is also fetching a positive response.
Harshad was last seen in Life OK's “Dil Se Di Dua - Saubhagyavati Bhava”.
Going on air Sep 22, “Humsafars” is an intense love story between two imperfect and contrasting individuals and what happens when their worlds collide.

An elephant that loves Perk!
The telly world has a new entrant who loves to eat chocolates - it is not a kid or a woman, but an elephant.
A baby elephant, which is one of the main characters of Zee TV's new show “Bandhan … Saari Umar Humein Sang Rehna Hai”, not only loves to gorge on chocolates on the set, but also has his favourite brand.
“People will be surprised to learn that Ganesh (elephant) is extremely fond of chocolates and his favourite is Perk, so it is stored in bulk on our sets,” said actor Aditya Redij, who essays the role of a forest ranger in the show.
Shooting with an animal has loads of lighter moments and recounting one such experience, Aditya said: “Once Ganesh and I were required for a sequence, but he would not stay in one place. So, the trainer told me to offer him a banana, I did that and the shot was successful.
"For the next shot, I gave him yet another banana and the shoot went well. Then, for the third shot, I hid the bananas. Ganesh walked over and gave me a nice little rap on the side with his trunk, almost like he were giving me a 'tapli' … this caught all of us completely off-guard and the entire unit burst out laughing.”
The weekend show is aired at 7 p.m.

Television witnesses a royal wedding
Weddings on television have always been a grand affair and if it's a royal wedding, the celebration becomes grander.
The historical show “Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap” has tried to capture the royal Rajputana style with the wedding of Mewar warrior Kunwar Pratap (played by Faisal Khan) with his lady love Ajabde (played by Roshni Walia).
The regal costumes for the royal wedding, designed by Neerusha Nikhat, have been much spoken about.
Nikhat says the royalty of the Rajputs inspired her.
"I have worked on the elaborate embroidery and embellishment for the costumes of the bride and the groom. I wanted to make the costumes look royal, hence I have used vibrant colours,” she added.
Abhimanyu Singh, CEO of Contiloe, which is producing the show, says the wedding is a festive moment for the entire unit.
"Ajabde looked absolutely mesmerising in her ethnic attire and jewellery especially crafted for the occasion. Maharana Pratap looked charming and admirable as always," he added.
