Bangalore, Sep 15: Officials of Victoria Hospital said that the report on the potency test conducted on self-proclaimed godman Nithyananda would be ready by Monday, and that the same would be handed over to personnel or criminal investigation department (CID) by Monday evening or Tuesday morning.
However, there is information that the four doctors who were involved with the test are hesitant to sign the final report, in view of the legal notice served on them and the deputy superintendent of police (DySP) of CID about inhuman treatment and showing of blue film to the self-styled godman. Sources in the hospital revealed that as per the tests, Nithyananda's physical growth, genitals, testicles, movement of sperms etc were found to be normal.
The legal notice issued on the doctors of Victorial Hospital as well as Lokesh, CID DySP, by advocate for Nithyananda, P Chandrashekhar, have raised following objections:
"Although Nithyananda was promised that invasive test (injecting of drugs to facilitate arousal) would not be conducted, it was.
"In violation of the powers vested with him, Nithyananda was spoken to in a rude manner by using bad language. After the test at the hospital, Dr Keshavamurthy instructed to kick him and take to FSL Centre in Madivala.
"There is no legal sanction to exhibition of obscene videos during potency tests, both in medical and legal procedures. In spite of knowing that Nithynanda is a ascetic, he was inhumanly treated by exhibiting blue film to him, although it is banned in India.
"My client reserves the right to initiate legal steps and file defamation case against the concerned for following illegal measures.
"Although the court had specifically ordered for collecting the doctor's opinion separately, CID officer violated legal provisions by being present when discussing about the potency test."
