Taipei, Sep 14 (IANS): Indian golfer Anirban Lahiri could only manage a tied fourth place finish while compatriot Rashid Khan, four shots further back, finished tied in sixth position with three others at Yeangder Tournament Players Championship (TPC) here Sunday.

Lahiri Saturday put himself in a perfect position to challenge for a second title this year when he moved into tied second place, just one shot off the leader after three rounds.

However, the 27-year-old struggled due to fatigue as he registered a disappointing 73 after mixing his card with four birdies against five bogeys.

"It was a mixed week - good and bad. I was nowhere near my A-Game or even my B-Game. I made a lot of mistakes but it is still a good week. I really feel that another win is really close. I just need to keep doing what I’ve been doing,” said Lahiri, who finished tied-13th in Switzerland last week.

Rashid too had a hard time and carded 71 in the final round to share sixth place with the Philippines' Angelo Que and local pair Lu-sen Lien and Wei-tze Yeh.
