Bangalore, Sep 13: Self-proclaimed godman Nithyananda has sent a legal notice through his lawyers to the doctors of Victoria hospital for making him watch pornographic movies during his potency test.
A team of doctors led by medical superintendent Durganna of Victoria Hospital has come to the conclusion that Nityananda's potency was proved during the tests conducted on Septmber 8 and another test was not required.
The potency test report is likely to be handed over to the CID on Monday, September 15.
In a letter written soon after he was subjected to the potency test, Nithyananda is understood to have written to the medical superintendent of Victoria Hospital stating that the test triggered a 'deep-rooted' pain which he 'always had', which rendered him unable to move. He also expressed fears of experience cardiac problems and requested that he be allowed to consult his personal cardiologist before the test.
He also stated in the letter that when the investigating officer had come to his ashram to issue notice about the medical test, he had assured that no invasive test would be done, but later he was pressurised to undergo the same.
