Mangalore, Sep 8: "Puttur Suresh Nayak bagged two awards under the tittle '1st Down Syndrome Magician to perform most magic shows.' His name has entered the Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records. Five-year-old Puttur Satvik Nayak's name has also enetered the Asia Books of Records and the Indian Book of Records under the title 'The Yougest Magician to perform most magic shows for a noble cause," said Umesh Nayak.

He was addressing the media at the press club here on Monday September 8.

"Affected with Down Syndrome, he has a chronoligcal age of 41, but his mental age is four. Presently, Puttur Suresh Nayak has created seven records which includes his name in the Limca Book of Records for his special telephone memory. CM Siddaramiah inaugurated the Down Syndrome campaign on October 10, 2013 and to continue to spread awareness, Sathvik along with his uncle has performed in 100 free magic shows in various schools, special shools and old age homes," he added.

At present, Sathvik is pursuing his UKG at Betheny Pre-Primary School Puttur.
