what is this?at one hand we copy the westerners and their traits and other hand we dont have even option of choosing our own life partners.Parents should discuss their daily activities and area of interest with their children so that they can read them.Gap between parents and children lead to such tragedic end.

Suicide is not the ultimate solution. May their soul rest in peace. Blaming one another is also of no use. Lack of common sense and guidance might cause such incidents.

Once the couple have decided to go ahead and marry, this kind of suicide will not make anybody happy, including the parents. Parents may oppose for many reasons but ending life will never make parents happy who have given their life to make you adults. I hope future generation will think twice before taking such a decision.

Parents should compromise. In such cases let them get married rather than suicide. Such an awareness should bring in all community especially in Hindu community. In muslim community muslims are reminding their children's that committing suicide is sin according to quran and the punishment for suicide is grave after the death.

    RIP departed souls!!!

Mostly youngsters fear their parents due to their very strict attitude and have no courage to confide in them and discuss any secret issues so as to come to a amicable solution and in the absence of financial capability to live independently, the youngsters think the only way out is suicide!!

The times warrant that parents should act friends with their children and taking them into total confidence so they do not hide anything!!

BTW, there is something like "copycat syndrome" in psychiatry wherein due to too much of big publicity given to suicides in media, more and more adolescents (with serious issues/suicidal ideations) imitate the same thinking they will be glorified after their deaths for doing a 'great job'!!!

It is a very sad thing both are true lovers although our society unable to accept it. Out of fear they might have committed suicide. No doubt the girl in a minor as per law.but this is the high time that the society have to change . We all accepting these things in tv /movie and real life in big cities when it comes to reality it reject due main factor of cast. no were in the world except some orthodox muslim countries, these type of love affairs rejected by fear the societies norms. I unable to understand, despite all round materialist development the thinking of indian inhabitants has not changed. go to haryana the local village sabha just kill the lovers as belong different community. KAB SUDHREGA APNA SAMAJ/APNA DESH.

It is time parents, more so society did away with caste etc.
In this present day world, when people of all sorts mix with each other quite freely, those things just hinder many a good hearted\brilliant\lovely people who think they are made for each other but parents\society think differently.
My advise to those with similar problems is to finish their studies and try and get jobs far away from home and marry to live a life they wanted to live. By that time they will be matured too and according to law no one can touch them.
    Committing suicide is cowardly act.
These two young people had to elope and lost their lives unnecessarily due to the caste problems.

Since the girl is a minor and the boy is major from different caste fell in love shows the case of infatuation. They might have gone for suicide when they might have come to know that society will not accept their love.Hope the schools and parents guide the youngsters properly to stop this kind of cases.

You mean to say that one should fall in love seeing his religion, caste, sect etc? you want the teachers to teach this..?that you should ively fall in love with caste ,creed ,religion in mind?I would call this hypocrisy of the highest order and against nature...and will spread hatred .I feel Love marriage and falling in love should be encouraged ..to wipe out caste based discrimination and hollow religions that spread hatred in the society,,,It is also a good way to curb rape and exploitation of the weaker gender.
