Mumbai Sep 1: The Hindi movie industry came out on to the streets here, on Saturday, with all the stars dressed in their finery on the final day of Ganesh Chaturti to bid adieu to Lord Ganesha. Bollywood's first family was spotted at Lalbagh to witness the largest Ganesha idol made. Amitabh Bachchan also posted pictures of his visit there with his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and son Abishek Bachchan on srbachchan.tumblr.com.
Aishwarya was resplendent in a white salwar kameez matched with a red dupatta, while Abhishek also wore white with a light pink waistcoat and Amitabhji wore a skin coloured shawl. In his own words they were there to worship the 'Lal bagh cha Raja...'
Actress Shilpa Shetty too came dressed in an orange saree and danced the 'visarjan' dance, with her husband Raj Kundra, mother Sunanda and sister Shamita Shetty. Salman Khan missed the celebrations as he was in Los Angeles for a health check up and Neil Nitin Mukesh too had to miss all the fun due to his shooting schedule for his Tamil film 'Kaththi'.
While Hrithik Roshan celebrated Ganesh Chaturti with family, his estranged wife Sussanne was seen enjoying the festivities with Dabboo Ratnani's family. Sonali Bendre was spotted carrying a Ganesha idol with her husband Goldie Behl, and Ameesha Patel too celebrated the final day of the festival in a simple way.
