British Govt build the nation with strong ICS , IP . They called ICS and IP are backbone of British India. After 1947 new rulers never trusted Civil Service officer's. Jawaharlal Nehru noted that someone had once defined the Indian Civil Service, "with which we are unfortunately still afflicted in this country, as neither Indian, nor civil, nor a service".[17]them ICS officers neither Indian nor Civil Servants. Sardar Patel appreciated their role in keeping India united after Partition, and noted in Parliament that without them, the country would have collapsed.

Today ICS and IP are no more but their Re-incarnation - IAS and IPS is born. Low calibre Unculture’d ,Low educated and Zero moral value Politicians made them puppet and transferred / booted out as whims & fancies
