Chennai, Aug 16 (IANS): Director Raju Murugan, who has refuted rumours that he has cast a star actor for his next directorial, says he's currently busy penning the film's script. Only once he's done with it, will he decide the cast for the movie.
It was rumoured that Murugan had signed Dhanush for his second film after his successful Tamil directorial "Cuckoo".
"There are queries and speculations in a section of the media that I have been planning my next film with a happening star which is not true at this point of time. Actually I'm planning a film with an out and out new genre," Raju said in a statement.
"I'm busy penning the script of my next film. My script will determine the star cast of my film and to my knowledge it is too early to speculate on the casting as of now," he said.
He said he will formally announce details about his second film soon.
