Mumbai, Aug 12: Ashutosh Gowariker's dream project 'Mohenjo Daro' has found a studio at last to fund the project. UTV Motion Pictures will back the project. The movie is a periodic love story set in the period of Indus valley civilization.
Hrithik Roshan will be playing the lead in the film. He will be working with Ashutosh after 'Jodha Akbar'. A newbie Puja Hegde has been signed as the female lead in the film. It is being reported that Hrithik will be paid Rs 50 crores for the film.
UTV Motion Pictures are basking in the success of their last venture 'Kick' which has done extraordinary business. The film has already grossed more than Rs 350 crores worldwide.
'Mohenjo Daro' is a big budget film. This film is litmus test for Ashutosh as his last few films have performed badly in box office. He will also be co-producing the film with UTV Motion Pictures.
