Kudos to Lokayukta. People around Mysore are unable to buy sites or lands as they do not have enough money to invest and we have black money holders who can invest without any problem. Am glad that we have a system like Lokayukta who can play a vital role changing the sytem and I feel they should be forming the government in our state.

Seeing the beautifully designed house as though it is some suburb of London, I am feeling very jealous that these Govt jobs are giving so much, rather too much to their employees to build such beautiful extravagant houses.

I am very disappointed that we are not able to build even one small 2 roomed house with the jobe we have.

Now have to get a placement in a Govt job. That is my goal. Otherwise no use seeing these beautiful gorgeous houses and not having one.

And ultimately what happens to the Govt employee. Big noise saying raid by Lokayukta, big photos and then no taking over these houses or their gold or their cash.
All this will be put in court cases and it will go on for years and all is forgotten.

At least I have heard of one case where that raided Govt officer is not bothered and is living happily and doing his business as usual.

Amazing MESCOM meter reader amassed so much of wealth and property, he might have been surely favored some biggies with meter tampering creating a huge loss to the tax payers money!! And a third rung employee amassing so much of wealth and property!! Just imagine how much the higher ups would be embezzling!!

Most of this money, as is seen in this case, is pumped into real estate, land, gold and that is one of the main reasons why realty prices are so high, all artificial due to the pumping of black and illegal money!!

BTW, many sporadic cases that do get reported of corruption, nothing is said later on, on whether the particular offenders have been convicted and amassed property seized?? If these cases are not followed and those involved not brought to justice, then these raiding exercises are another wanton waste of public money done for name sake!! Jai Hind!!

What is the use of all this if public does not come to know what actions have been taken with these corrupt officials of the Government.
It will be same like other court cases where the corrupt will be released due to money power.
Media people become hyper on the first news of the raid and the DPA of each one that is raided. But never heard from media whether those arrested have been convicted or let out.
I would very much appreciate such end news are published where we feel law is working well.

The government instead of wasting time for getting back black money from swiss bank should concentrate on getting back the public looted money from "Babus" and ministers.

Lokayukta's in Karnataka have a great reputation as the Raiders. But if you examine their record closely you will find that they do not have a single conviction of any senior corrupt public official in the last 20 years. Show me a single senior official who has been convicted and sentenced as a result of the work of the Lokayukta in Karnataka. All these reports are merely show and the properties which are listed are ultimately released back to the officers concerned may be after taking some rights on them. The proof of the pudding is always in the eating. In this case it is securing a conviction of the corrupt in a criminal case. In that the Karnataka Lokayukta's record is one big zero. The Lokayukta has spent hundred crores of public money on establishment and allowances of offices and staff of the organization without any result to show.

Please visit the Sub Registrar's office in Mangalore where the sale of property is being registered. Money changes hands with impunity and this has been going on for years. Why only Mangalore, I am sure this happens throughout the country and nothing is being done about this. From the peon right up to the registrar, everybody's palms are being greased. And this happens day in and day out.
