Los Angeles, Aug 5 (IANS): Pop star Lady Gaga's dog named Asia has been banned from travelling with her for the Far East leg of her “ArtRave: The Artpop Ball” tour later this month due to quarantine rules.
The 28-year-old applied to travel with her French bulldog Asia for the tour later this month, but she has been told by authorities that her furry friend will have to stay in the US, reports contactmusic.com.
Taking to her Twitter account, she tweeted: "They won't let Asia into Asia. Some quarantine rules. I don't know what I'm going to do without my baby girl in Tokyo. I had so many plans!"
Gaga, who will complete the North American leg of her tour this week, is set to play two nights at the Chiba Marine Stadium in Tokyo Aug 13 and Aug 14 before heading to Seoul, South Korea, to perform at the Olympic Stadium, Aug 16.
The “Applause” singer recently said she shares a very "special bond" with her pooch and says that they can communicate by using different body parts.
"Asia and I have a very special bond. She also talks a lot with her big, beautiful eyes. Her ears are especially large for a Frenchie, and I can tell she's comfy at home with Mommy because her ears are down,” Gaga had said earlier.
