Los Angeles, July 14 (IANS): On the first death anniversary of "Glee" actor Cory Montieth, his co-stars remembered his greatness and honest smile.
Montieth was found dead July 13, 2013, after overdosing on heroin and alcohol in a hotel room in Vancouver. He was 31.
On Sunday, his on-and-off-screen girlfriend Lea Michele posted photographs in the late actor’s honour.
"We hold you in our hearts today, and every day we remember your smile. We will love you and miss you always," she posted on Twitter, reports people.com.
Lawren Potter, who plays Becky Jackson, a cheerleader with Down syndrome, on the hit TV show, tweeted: One year later and I miss Cory everyday. I hope we make him proud."
"It's been 1 whole year & it's still so surreal, but today is just a reminder of how damn great you were and how much you mean to us all," tweeted Kevin McHale, who portrays the character of Artie Abrams in the show.
Other cast members also remembered Montieth through tweets and Instagram pictures.
