Doha: KMCA community organizes Iftar party

Doha, Jul 5: Karnataka Muslim Cultural Association organized the annual Iftar for the community members on Friday July 4 at ICC Ashoka Hall.

Around 300 members and their families attended the Iftar programme. This was hailed as one of the highest number of participation.


The event began with the prayer by master Ayaan Khan. Senior community leader Syed Abdul Hye gave a motivational speech.

Saqib Razak Khan opened the programme at 5 pm. Mohammed Nadeem Hyderbad gave a lecture on the meaning and benefits of Ramadan and fasting, Islamic values and significance of the month of Ramadan. 

He spoke about the importance of reading Quran. He also highlighted the need to recite the verses from the Holy Quran. The president of KMCA Niyazmed declared the programme open.

Prominent president of KMCA Niyaz Ahmed addressed the gathering. General Secretary Ibraiz Kha presented a report on the KMCA activities and its future plans. He also urged the members to render their support for the upcoming events. The KMCA treasurer read out the finance report.

Group supplication was made prior to Iftar break at 6.20 pm. Dinner was served after the prayers and the programme concluded at 8.00 pm.

The heads of associations of other Karnataka and Qatar organizations attended the KMCA Iftar. Deepak Shetty, the president of Karnataka Sanga, Ravi Shetty, Tulu Koota Qatar, Norbert Corda, MCC, Prakashchandra Ajila, Bunts Qatar, Divakar Poojary of Billva Sangha Qatar, Abdul Majeed SKMWA, Asmath Ali, Kundapur Taluk Welfare Association, Kareem Abdulla, the president of ICBF, Girish Kumar, acting president ICC, Arun Kumar, Milan Arun, Sanjay Kudri, M I Fareed, Habibullah Nabhi, Sayed Abdul Hye along with other prominent leaders, head of KSQ and representatives of Tulu Koota attended.

The senior members of KMCA appreciated the efforts of president Niyaz Ahmed for conducting the event successfully with such a large number of audience.

    Great Job KMCA and its Ex-Com Team. U have made KMCA a prestigious organization of Qatar from Karnataka representing Muslims at large. Cheers to the entire team again.     MaSha'Allah, good gathering indeed. A lot of new faces mixed with familiar faces. An indication of popular outreach and acceptance as a community organisation of choice.
    Congratulations to the President and the utive Committee for upholding the values and working relentlessly to bring prominence.
