Udupi: Pyar kiya to darna kya! Teen romance on road shocks residents

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (SP)

Udupi, Jul 3: There is no doubt that teen love is on the rise, whether in big cities or small towns. Given the easy access to internet and social media, and the whole bunch of temptations today's youngsters are exposed to, it is no wonder that they are easily letting themselves be lured into acts that they may later come to regret.

An incident, which perhaps serves as an example of the recklesslessness of teen love, was witnessed by residents of Udupi, who, needless to say, were left gaping in shock at the teenagers.

People using a road in the town on Thursday July 3 morning came across a unfamiliar scene. They were shocked to see that the girl student of a private high school in the town and her boyfriend were openly carrying out their love affair on the road. The picture of the lovers kissing each other was clicked on a cell phone by several individuals.

Fed up by this open show of love, a few locals approached the couple to question them, when the boy fled sensing trouble. The girl, who is a minor and perhaps a student of eighth or ninth standard, was entrusted to her parents.

The incident occurred on a cross road near Ajjarkad here. It is said that the youth, who belongs to another community, meets this girl at this exact spot every morning, and it is common for the two to forget the need to behave responsibly in public places.

In the meanwhile, it is gathered that pictures of these two youngsters displaying their of affection for each other openly on the road are being circulated in social websites.

Well, as they say, pyar kiya to darna kya, and in the case of these love birds, it definitely seems to be true!

GUYS, ARE YOU JEALOUS THAT THE COUPLE KISSED OR HUGGED?? LET THEM ENJOY. THEY HAVE A FREEDOM. IF ANYTHING OBSCENE OR IF YOU WHO SAW THEM FEEL IF IT IS REALLY WRONG, THEN, INFORM THEIR PARENTS IN A NICE WAY THAN MAKING A BIG ISSUE. WE IN SOCIETY SHOULD SOLVE THE ISSUE AND BRING PEACE THAN DESTROYING PEACE BY MAKING A LOUD SOUND. IF THE KIDS HAVE LOVED PRIVATELY, YOU PEOPLE WOULD HAVE MADE MORE ISSUE., JUST BECAUSE THEY LOVE NATURALLY, THEY FEAR NOT TO ANYONE. AND ITS UNJUST TO CLICK PHOTOGRAPHS OF SOMEONE ELSE'S PICTURES WITHOUT THE PERMISSION. AN ACTION SHOULD BE TAKEN AGAINST THOSE WHO CLICKED SUCH PICTURES. PEACE BE WITH YOU MANGALORE.

love is beautiful, yes its true. and indeed i have no problem with public display of affection. but given their age, they are bound to regret. it is like cheating their future partners in case they dont marry. and even if they do... blah young love is always foolish dont you think... it is just like an experiment.. parents know well, get guidance from them..

wise guys says it is common,at that age they should enjoy etc because it is not happened with their concerned people.Suppose that guy married the same girl and after marriage he came to know that he married the same girl who is in the photo. Then that guys condition we can't immagin. It is the age to study and such actions in public places are not allowed.Any action in right age right time at right place is appreciable in a civilized society. These actions shows their animal instinct.

Why is this news? As a society we need to grow up. Maybe this is not yet acceptable in Indian society, but the movies/tv say otherwise. Youngsters today are much more ahead than we were. As a society we need to accept the change and rather try our best to inculcate the right values in them. Hopefully then they are not influenced by what the movies/tv show as acceptable and try to behave decently in public.

It is nothing new. It used to happen in the past..it will happen in future too!! All chupke chupke! Here someone spotted it. (In some countries it happens openly others hiding). They will be alright as they mature. In few isolated cases it may turn out to be a disaster since attention gets diverted from studies. I am not here to support or oppose it!!

Initially and all you know when it comes to kissing the experienced will tell you that the 'Law Of Diminishing Marginal Utility' never applies here at all. This DMU theory is based on the concept 'Familiarity breeds contempt' Is it not? However, my friend long time back told me that most of the times' familiarity breeds children' also.
