Mangalore, Jul 3: 'Moushami Creations' Bajjodi is all set to present the 7th Lancy Moras Nite on August 2 at Don Bosco Hall in the city.
Lancy Moras is looking forward to dedicate this unique musical nite to his mother Cecilia Moras whose 80th birthday will be celebrated on the same day. He says he is truly sanctified to sing right in front of her a song which was composed in the year 1989, which incidentally, he also sang during his first musical nite in the same hall.
Sangeetha Balachandra from Udupi will rock the stage again with an awesome song “Toon ye Lagin” which received an immense standing ovation from the audience during Lancy Moras’ 4th musical nite last year.
Along with Lancy Moras, well-known singers like Ravindra Prabhu from Mulky, Rony Crasta from Kulshekar and Anita D'Souza will entertain the crowd with their melodious voices.
The Musical Nite will encompass of 15 old and new songs. Live dance and rib-tickling comedy will add extra spice to the show which is scheduled to start at sharp 6:30 pm. The music will be handled by famous Murali’s band from Mangalore and a few other artistes who will specially be flown in from Kerala.

Lancy Moras says his success in the musical amphitheater embraces the wholesome heavenly blessings from his beloved parents followed by his Konkani musical guru the late Konkan Kogul Wilfy Rebimbus and his role models Konkan Kalashree Claud D'Souza and prominent musician Joswin Pinto from his own parish Bendore.
Recently, the 6th Lancy Moras Konkani Musical Nite in Bahrain was successfully organized by ‘Konkani Kutam’ of Bahrain in association with the Konkani Community of Sacred Heart Church in aid of a new Cathedral at Awali, Bahrain enthralled nearly 1,200 people.
Lancy Moras has two albums to his credit, devotional album 'Tujea Shethant' that has sold over 4,000 copies in two years. The hit songs from his second melodious album 'Milan Mogachen' has been played during weddings and parties, specially the hit songs 'Saarika' and 'Lagnachi Raath'.
Working as an accountant in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for the past 21 years, Lancy Moras nevertheless sacrificed his extra time for his beloved mother tongue Konkani and one needs to wholly appreciate his awesome efforts. My love for Konkani never shrunk despite staying abroad for so many years," he says.
The organizers have requested Konkani music fans from all over to turn up in large numbers and witness this mega event.
