High court permits to complete 'Abhinetri' shooting

Bangalore, Jun 24: Karnataka high court has allowed the makers of Kannada film 'Abhinetri' to complete the shooting. A lower court had stalled the shooting of the film, after novelist Bhagya Krishnamurthy filed a case against the makers, alleging the film is based on her novel 'Abhinetriya Antaranga'. High court has given permission only to complete the shooting, but not for releasing.

Pooja Gandhi has been told to submit the CD of the film by June 30. The film will be watched on July 1 by the court.

'Abhinetri' is Pooja Gandhi's first production. The movie is directed by Satish Pradhan and has been in news from long time. Initially it was in news regarding the film being a biography of sandalwood legend Kalpana. Later it was in news due to hot stills of the movie being leaked in media.
