Mangalore, Jun 20: M B Sadashiva on Friday June 20 resigned from the post of Dakshina Kannada district president of JD(S), citing personal reasons. He will, however, continue to serve the party as a member.

Announcing this at a press meet here on Friday June 20, Sadashiva said, "I have sent my resignation to JD(S) chief Deve Gowda, but he has not accepted it yet. However, my resignation is final.

"The decision to resign from the post of district president is my own. I am resigning due to personal reasons and not due to any differences or pressure," he stressed.

Criticising the Congress state government over various issues, he said the government had failed to provide good administration. "The government is interested in only private lobbies and not bothered about resolving problems faced by the people. It has failed to address issues like discrepancies in ration card system and others that are important to people," he said.

He also pointed out that there is internal difference in the Congress party between the 'outsiders' and loyalists that is in turn affecting the administration.

"There is failure in bureaucracy too. Recently a false case was filed by an MCC officer against a corporator. We demand a thorough probe into the issue," he said, referring to the complaint against JD(S) corporator Azeez in connection to a recent protest staged by residents of Kandak over the proposed ice plant project.

He further stressed that during his tenure as JD(S) district president, he never compromised on his principles or the party's ideology.

When reporters asked about his party's support to SDPI in the April-May parliamentary elections, he said it was a decision taken by the party high command.

He said that till a new president is appointed, JD(S) district working president Mohammed Kunhi will handle the affairs of the party.

Sushil Noronha, state vice-president of JD(S), S P Chengappa, Mohammed Kunhi, Anita Bhandarkar and others were present.

Good news to JDS now at least in dakshina kannada JDS would do better without this selfish leader who destroyed the JDS in the district earlier, and because of him some good leaders in JDS like Nagraj Shetty, Sadananda Shetty who joined the party and immediately left the party because of him.

Mr.M.B.Sadashiva knows there is nothing for him for the next 4 yrs at least. His leaving will not make any dent in the JDS except may be lose 1 vote. He can join the AAP or CPIM.

Any political party which is not governed by set of rules will bound to eliminate. JDS is one among them. Now JDU too following the same route. Parties like BJD and AIDMK are far better.

Once JDS had good hold of DK now seems to be decimated.Good Mr Sadasiva resigned because JDS is no more selling commodities under him.JDS made big mistake for not making Shri AMARNATH SHETTY as MLC as he is the lonely political in entire DK/UDUPI who never changed his party when it was decimated and also when it was in flying time.

Those who are still continuing as party office bearers of JD(S) are wasting their precious time and energy for nothing. After conducting muslim convention, christian convention, handi caped peoples convention and what not, this is the situation of the party with 2 MPs.Kumbaraswamy himself lost this time and he is always on joyy trip to foreign countries after the defeat in the LS election.Moral of the theme is those who are palying partism deals with people of the state/country will meet the same fate of Congress44 and BSP0 and JDS...........
    Jai hoo.....
