Chennai, June 11 (IANS): Indo-Canadian filmmaker Nisha Pahuja's critically acclaimed documentary "The World Before Her", which recently released in select cities in the country, is making its way to southern cities Chennai and Hyderabad Friday.
"#TheWorldBeforeHer will release this Friday at Hyderabad (Cinemax Cyberabad) #Chennai (PVR Ampa Skywalk) (sic)," Shiladitya Bora, who manages PVR Director's Rare, posted on his Twitter page Wednesday.
The documentary, which explores the environment in which modern-day women are growing in India, has already been raved by critics as well as audiences.
The film focuses on two dynamically opposite women - model Ruhi Singh and a Hindu militant Prachi Trivedi - who struggle to have freedom of choice even in the 21st century.
Indian filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, who was moved by the film, has presented the movie's release in the country.
The documentary is likely to get released in other major cities as well soon.
