Dubai, Jun 10: Along with a brand new and 'alag' season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa which premiered on Colors on June 7, here comes another breathtaking edition of UAE’s most celebrated dance competitions - ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa UAE Dance Extravaganza 2014’.
Organized by IndiaCast, this renowned dance competition in its third year promises to be bigger and better than ever before. While Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa on Colors assures to keep the viewers glued to their television sets this season by going global, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa UAE Dance Extravaganza 2014 too is all set to allure the audiences through its glitz, glamour and chutzpah and giving a break to the Indian residents of UAE to come to the forefront.
The auditions which were held at the Melia Hotel, Dubai on May 23 attracted over 140 entries from across UAE and were adjudged by ace choreographers Nisha Dhawan and Kshitij Vaishnav from Mumbai. After what looked like a tough competition, a total of 16 finalists were shortlisted for the grand finale which is slated to take place on June 14 at the Sheikh Rashid Auditorium, Indian High School, Dubai. These 16 finalists will now battle it out in front of more than 1500 people for the golden opportunity to dance in front of dancing queen – Madhuri Dixit on the Jhalak floor!
The master choreographer of ballroom and Latin American dance forms, Sandeep Soparrkar and the winner choreographer of JDJ Season 4 Marischa Fernandes will preside over as the jury at the grand finale.
Continuing its tradition of making its brands more local and more relevant to audiences in the Middle East, IndiaCast aims at providing local dance enthusiasts a huge platform to display their creativity and talent and get an opportunity to make it to the big league. The competition like the last two years is open to all Indian residents of UAE for solo participation within the age group of 12 years and above. The grand prize for the final winner is an all-expense paid trip to Mumbai with once in a life time opportunity to dance in front of the dancing Diva – Madhuri Dixit on the coveted stage of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and also get featured on Colors Middle East.
IndiaCast has spared no effort in making this contest a grand gala affair! The event is being organized by Emirates Vision Events and is being promoted through a wide reach multi media campaign across Colors, MTV India, Gulf News, Khaleej Times, City 101.6, Bus Shelters, Direct Mailers, digitally through Facebook and connecting directly with the youth through educational and dance institutes.
