Mangalore: 'Chaali Polilu' Tulu movie to hit screens in September

Mangalore, Jun 7: 'Chaali Polilu', a movie that will mark a series of first in Tulu cinema industry, will hit theatres across the coastal region, the Gulf and the UK in September this year.

Two legendary stalwarts of Tulu cinema, Vijaykumar Kodialbail and Devdas Kapikad, have come together on the screen of 'Chaali Polilu' for the first time. Also, 'Chaali Polilu' has brought together the finest actors from the Tulu film industry to set the screens on fire with their fantastic acting skills.

Shot by the famous cinematographer Utpal V Nayanar from the Malayalam movie industry, the movie has been edited and is currently being dubbed.

This movie will be premiered in the month of September in all box office theaters in Mangalore, Udupi, Kasargod, Bangalore, Mumbai, Dubai, Bahrain and London.

'Chaali Polilu' is the maiden venture of Jaya Kirana films headed by Prakash Pandeshwar. This movie has been eagerly awaited by Tulu cinema enthusiasts.

Renowned choreographer Cool Jayant who has choreographed more than 500 movies has lent his magic touch to the Tulu silver screen through this movie.

The movie was shot in a continuos phase of 26 days without break. This feat was accomplished with the use of two cameras; which hasn't been done in any other Tulu movies before.

The movie features a special stunt scene which has been choreographed by Vinod Bangalore, the famous stunt master of Sandalwood industry.

With this movie, Veerendra Shetty Kavoor makes his directoral debut; and also; the script, screenplay and the dialogues are by him.

Noted music director of the Kannada film industry V Manohar has lent his melodious tunes to 'Chaali Polilu'; which range from peppy and foot-tapping to lilting masterpeices. The songs have been shot in the picturesque surroundings of Madikeri and Mangalore.

Arjun Kapikad and Surendra Bantwal have made special appearances in this movie. Renowed theatre artistes and actors Devdas Kapikad, Navin Padil, Bhojraj Vamanjoor; Sundar Rai Mandara and Chetan Rai also share screen space in this movie. Actress Divyashree and Navya add beauty and poise to the cast.

Indeed, 'Chaali Polilu' is fruit of the hardwork, diligence and expertise of numerous artistes, musicians and the technical team.
