Mumbai, Jul 12: Governor S M Krishna of Maharashtra  has sent the following message on the tragic incident of serial bomb blasts occurred on the Western Railway trains in Mumbai which killed 100 people :
 
 “I am deeply shocked and saddened to know about the serial bomb blasts in Mumbai in the first class compartment of Western Railway trains at Matunga, Bandra, Khar, Jogeshwari, Boriwali and Bhayandar within a short span of 15 minutes.  This is really a sad day for Mumbai.  The series of blasts in Mumbai is a dastardly and inhuman attempt and I condemn such type of cowardly act.
 
I, on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Maharashtra convey my heartfelt condolences to those who lost their near and dear one and wish speedy recovery to those who are injured in this incident. My heart also goes out to all those affected by these blasts.
 
I have no doubt in my mind that the resilient people of Mumbai will face the challenge posed by this tragedy with courage and fortitude. I appeal the people of Mumbai City to stay calm in this hour of crises, not believe in rumors and carry on with their routine activities.”
