Mangalore: Man commits suicide on railway track at Yekkur

Mangalore, Jun 3: A 45-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train at Yekkur here on Tuesday June 3.

The deceased has been identified as Madhusudan, a resident of Pumpwell.

According to sources, Madhusudan was working as an electrician but had later switched over to wholesale business.

It is said that late on Monday June 2 night, Madhusudan returned home drunk and quarreled with his family members. He then walked out and committed suicide, it is learnt.

He got married a year ago and has a month-old baby.

The railway police rushed to spot. 

The case has been registered by Mangalore rural police.

    its indeed very extreme. God has given life to live. He should have seen his son and wife and atleast lived for them. there are situations in life where something goes beyond and committing suicide is not the end of it all. it even put the others(family members) in more difficulty. Do it worth to give oath to live rest of life with his wife and break it? I certainly dont think right

    Why did he committed suicide..
    Why so in hurry...
    At least should have approached a nearby BJP's office for help..!!
    It's in the past people are committing suicide as mostly 'farmers' during congress regime..
    Now no need to do so..everything will be better in coming days..!!
    Don't ever take an extreme step..!!
    For the citizens of india...modiji travelled so far all over in india..to have a good atomsphere in the society.

    Alcohol is the mother of all evils.
    It is the Root cause to ruin the Family relations, Peace of Mind, etc,etc......

    I don't agree with you as you said Alcohol is mother of all evils and root cause of all crimes. Instead I can say its also a crime along with other crimes only when it consume in exceed quantity
    If I agree with you then what about yesterdays stolen cow accident Was he drank while driving? what about terrorism in all over the world, Are they drink before they operate blasts?
