Bangalore: Rashmi Baliga secures first rank in BEd, bags three gold medals

Bangalore, May 21: Rashmi S Baliga from Mangalore has done her hometown proud by securing the first rank in BEd course in Bangalore University, bagging three gold medals and three cash prizes.

She was awarded the medals and prizes by Karnataka governor, H R Bhardwaj, at the 49th convocation of Bangalore University held in the city on Tuesday May 20.

Rashmi, who completed BEd course in the city-based New Horizon College, is the daughter of Sudhir and Vasudha Baliga from Mangalore. She is married to Sumanth Padiyar, Bangalore.

She graduated with BSc degree from St Aloysius College before completing MSc from Mangalore University. At present, she teaches at Gear International, Bangalore.
