Governor H R Bhardwaj rejects reports about quitting office

Bangalore, May 20 (PTI): Karnataka Governor H R Bhardwaj today rejected reports that he has reached out to the Congress High Command expressing his desire to vacate the Raj Bhavan in the wake of NDA all set to form the government at the Centre.

"Governors are constitutional authorities and we don't bow to any political parties, at least I don't. I have maintained long distance from them... So, where is the question of I approaching New Delhi. So, I expect the President to take a decision," he told reporters here.

Speaking on the sidelines of Bangalore University's 49th annual convocation here, he said he was appointed by the President as Governor for five years and his term would expire on June 29 this year.

"A Governor cannot leave the state unless the Rashtrapati (President) appoints another Governor."

For Justice, I am a changed man now. With the drubbing we gave to your congress, I don’t think there is any point in “Beating the dead” anymore. We will concentrate on Maharashtra assembly elections as of now to clean the remaining traces of congress there. Atleast Karnataka has a Majority congress Govt elected by the people. Even though it was Proved that HRB took supari from 10 Janpath before coming to Karnataka, we don’t want the same to repeat again in Karnataka. We will catch your Govt in 2018 if it Remains intact till then surviving the infight within . So I really meant the second Paragraph form deep within my heart. The first Para was my thought Pre-May 16th before routing the congress beyond our expectations.

He may reject the Report, but the baised Governor does not have moral right to continue. It is imminant that he will be replaced at any time.

Modi should now Appoint Amith Shah as Governer to Karnataka. Amith Shah should then play his stratergy here by getting in touch with DKSHI & PAMMI to topple Siddu, chair, just like the way how HRBhardwaj created instability in Karnataka BJP . It will then be fun to watch Karnataka Congress's downfall HAHAHA.

Sorry I was joking, we don't want this to happen at the expense of Kannadigas especially Taxpayer middle class families. We are not congress, we belive in Democracy. We wish Modi Govt & Siddu Govt co-operate for the benefit of Karnataka. Not like congress who gave Supaari to HRB while sending him to Karnataka.

The day Amith Shah becomes Gov for Karnataka, then we need not work in Sharja and Bangkok. We just need to handle the Go-shaalas.

In fact the first paragraph is from your heart n the second one is joke isn't it?

Its not the matter who topples who but from who's cost the new election to be conducted...Certainly not from Ambani,Adani or Vadra...

Now it is indigestible for many here, on this issue. In fact, Yeddi was giving good governance, but Bhardwaj was used as instrument to create turmoil in Karnataka Politics by Congress, with sponsored Media in background. Now, they fear it will bounce back.
But Modi if he does as in Gujarat we can have a good governance, & development will be their mantra. If you have any doubts, please check 'busstands in Gujarat' in Google images.

    Dear Bharadwaj

If you are such a pure person to preach others on apolitical requirement for a governor, why did you accept this position in first place? Did you forgot about your political background at that time?

Bhardwaj was acting as Congress Agent during BJP tenure in Karnataka & was arm twisting Yeddi. Now, he forecasts if Yeddi gets Cabinet berth, & he may get back what he had given to Yeddi. So he is thinking of Palayana Soothra.

Yeddi will not take any cabinet berth. May be he can request party to give a cabinet berth to an MP from coastal Karnataka.

Yeddi whether is offered Cabinet post or not is different matter. But Bhardwaj clearly knows what he has done to Yeddi, & now is fearing that it may back fire him. So all this Kar-Natak.
Iam quite sure that the agenda of this government will be purely development & it will not follow the Congress agenda.
