Mangalore: BJP expels Srikar Prabhu for six years, removes P P Hegde

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangalore

Mangalore, May 8: Member of BJP state executive committee Srikar Prabhu has been expelled from the party for a period of six years for indulging in anti-party activities during the Lok Sabha elections.

In a press statement, the district BJP announced that Srikar Prabhu has been expelled by the state by the party on the recommendation of the district unit.

Moreover, the party has also removed noted advocate P P Hegde from his post as the chief of BJP National Security Cell for the same reason. He too has been relieved from all responsibilities of the party.

The BJP stated that he has been removed in the wake of some of the unexpected events that rocked the party during the elections.

The expulsion would be come into effect immediately as per the orders of state BJP president Prahlad Joshi, the party stated.

The decision to remove P P Hegde immediately from his post was passed by BJP state chief Raghunathrao Melkapure, stated the BJP press release.

Though the party did not state the exact events that led to the decision, the move comes in the wake of the release of the controversial CD containing call records purportedly made by BJP MP Nalin Kumar Kateel to a woman for a protracted period of time. The CD had caused much furore, with cases being filed against Sudatta Jain and P P Hegde by Nalin Kumar for conspiring against him.

Reacting to the development, P P Hegde said that he was never a member of the BJP and the party had only asked him to take responsibility of its National Security Cell. "I do not care. I did not hold any primary membership of the party and hence there is no question of expelling me. I am in fact glad that I have been relieved of this responsibility. The local BJP leaders and full of jealousy, and even Nalin Kumar Kateel has no moral values. I supported him on the request of the BJP only because I want to see Narendra Modi becoming the Prime Minister," he said.

A highly placed source within the party told daijiworld that a discussion regarding Srikar Prabhu's continuation in the party had been held soon after the release of the CD. He had also been given a warning, the source said.

Good decision by BJP State utive in charge.
Relieve all good\honest(difficult to find in BJP) workers of the party which number a very few and then you will be left with only Feku workers. Then the Party will be birds of the same feather that stick together in all your corrupt ways.
These honest workers are thorns in your side, always creating problems and come in your way of making easy money.
You can also pronounce that he is pro-congress as usually done by you.

You will not get any reply from DPoojary for your comments on BJP "President"
When someone like you states the facts, they are out breath and OUT OF WORDS.
Facts are facts. They (BJPians) get hurt very badly when facts are told about their party and members.
    That is how they are.

It is a very good decision to expel PP Hegde because he was always a liability for BJP.
But Shrikar Prabhu was an Asset for BJP as he has worked hard to build BJP since last 3 decades. So Prabhu should have been just given a warning and allowed to continue in BJP.

    @ Dinesh Kundapur,
Your 'Poweful' president only welcomed corrupt Yeddi, BSR back into the party. Also inducted controversial Muthalick in the party (Muthalick was later removed just because it became an issue of national debate & in the fear of losing women votes).

He is not powerful, he is a joker dancing to the tunes of national leaders.
Let him kick out all corrupt thugs in the party (including women beaters & sexual harassers) & show us, if he is powerful.

Expulsion of Prabhu and PPH from the BJP was in card earlier and the news are not surprise for the readers and expelled.

What surprising me is that the action taken before election result of LS which may impacted the BJP's faring..I mean BJP may loose Mangalore seat. The two incidents,THIMORODY and anti-party activities of these two 'thundu leaders' might costed BJP around 30-40 thousand votes?(CHAVADI-CHARCHE)I don't know Prathapa Sinh Nayak, district BJP chief had agreed on this expulsion because Thimorody was inducted by NALIN and Bhat which necessitated Nayak to call press meet to deny an entry to Thimorody to the party!!Apart from that there are untold stories which I could not disclose here.Well, District BJP is in severe DECENT MOOD!!!!!

Sex related scandals are bogging BJP leaders for quite sometimes which caused a lot of embarrassment. Here is a recap of the instances.
    1)HALAPPA's 'friendly rape'

    2)Renu's friendly kiss

3)Trio's BLUE FILM' watch in HOUSE.

    4)Ex Minister,RAMDAS's Extra martial episode

5)SANJAY JOSHI(RSS leader from GUJ-was made sex scandal CD by Modi & gang)

    6)Nalin Kumar's alleged 'LOVEYY-DAVEYY'

All above episodes are enough to brand BJP harboring such kind of people and not even issued a nominal SHOW CAUSE NOTICE!!!!
