Won't apologise for music video: Lily Allen

Los Angeles, May 5 (IANS): Singer Lily Allen says she won't apologise for her music video "Hard Out Here", which was been slammed by the critics for being racist.

The 29-year-old was slammed by the critics for having a number of black girls twerking in the promo for her new song, but Allen said it wasn't racism, reports contactmusic.com.

"I've never apologised for it and I still won't because I don't think I did anything wrong. People on Twitter always say it's not the intent, it's the impact. Well, that's bull s**t," said the singer.

"My whole make-up is about bringing inequality and injustice to the forefront, so when people said I was racist I was like, 'Noooo, that's not me', I thought, Oh my god, is it worth it? But, of course, it is," she added.
