Sanjeeva Poojary (70) was found hacked to death on Wednesday April 30 at Nooyi Darkas. He had taken a cow for grazing in the morning, but when he did not return home for lunch, his son-in-law went searching and found him murdered.

Jawahar was spotted wandering in the surrounding areas of Mahaveera College in the wee hours of Thursday, with a bottle of water in his hand. He was later arrested by the police.

Police took him to the crime spot for investigation. It is reported that he could not remember the place where he stayed on Wednesday night.

Most of the recent time brutal killings in the universities in USA were the victims of mentally unstable young men. A previous case of Dharmastala and this case have their connection to mental illness. One of the informative movie to watch about mental illness is “The beautiful mind”. Till today there is no cure for mental illness of chronic type.
