'Kirnnam Suryachim' devotional album released in Israel

Israel, Apr 24: Holy Rosary Church, Kundapur parishioner Santhosh Fernandes' new Konkani Christian devotion album 'Kirnnam Suryachim' was released by chaplin of Indian Chaplaincy Fr Tojy Jose of Israel after the Easter mass which was offered at Tel Aviv Terra Santa school campus.

Fr Victor D'Souza, Fr Dharma Pichai, Fr Ravi Rosario, Br Arcadius Puwein, Br Carmel Myrthong, Br James Raj, Br Praveen Topno, Prakash Fernandes, and thousands of devotees were present on this occasion.

'Kirnnam Suryachim' album's lyrics have been penned by Fr Valerian Mendonca. The music is by veteran musician of the film industry Deepak Jayasheelan.

The tunes are by Santhosh Victor Fernandes, who has also rendered his melodious voice for some of the hymns in the album.

This is the first album by Santhosh Fernandes. He is a writer, poet and well-known singer in Israel and Mangalore as well. Presently, Santhosh leads the choir as a choir master for all Konkani mass in Israel -Telaviv.

The CD has 10 hymns. 'Somiyan Jesu Muja' hymn has been sung by playback singer of the film industry Anuradha Bhat and 'Ghe Bapa' by well-known Konkani singer Dr Prashanth Raj. The hymns are co-sung by many popular vocalists of the Konkani music industry.

'Kirnnam Suryachim' releasing ceremony was compered by Naveen Joseph D'Souza.

The album is available at all Konkani music stores.
