Mumbai, April 23 (IANS): The second edition of Navi Mumbai International Film Festival (NMIFF) has collaborated with international film festivals of London, Spain and France.
The business tie-up is with the International Filmmaker Festival of World Cinema, London, the Madrid International Film Festival, Spain and St Tropez International Film Festival, France.
NMIFF will be the exclusive agency in India for these festivals for film entries and a sister concern in business of films’ promotions and publicity.
"NMIFF is extremely thrilled to partner with these international film festivals. We will also be providing an international platform to independent and emerging filmmakers to showcase their work to the European audience through our collaboration," Sachin Khanna, founder and managing director of NMIFF, said in a statement.
The collaboration will enable NMIFF to interact with filmmakers across the globe and connect the Indian filmmakers to the international market.
NMIFF will play a key role in promoting and distributing Indian films at the global level through the association.
