its heart rending to see these accidents happening, and 90 percent of the time heavy vehicles, especially buses involved. blood boils at the arrogant nature of the drivers with a hoot about care to other road users.

using illegal air horns for them is the norm, the police here has proved time and time again that they are one of the most incapable and corrupt police we can see, harassing the smaller vehicles but ignoring these buses, the main reason being that the owners feed these police.

its time public themselves start delivering instant justice to these murderers on the road as the law and order here is like a fangless snake. sooner the better.because the RTO, Police here are just adornments.
i have begun to consider these people to be on the lowest rung of human values

it's evident that police and RTO have decided to keep themselves mum. Or else I don't think drivers will behave like this on road. Last weekend one of the express driver ( from Udupi Mangalore )... since he could overtake my car from the right side, all of sudden entered from left side and was threatening me to go aside and let him to go. If I wouldn't have put sudden break and let him go...bus would have ramped in to our car. he is going happily scolding me and his face was smiling as of he won a big victory. My family inside the car screamed by seeing the bus ramping so close to the car with a loud noise and horn. I just slowed down the car to avoid a hit and accident. Buggers , think the road is theirs and nobody can make them to slow down or stop, they will act like giants. unless RTO and police open their eyes, this is going to continue.

Keep traffic police at sensitive accident spots and give them full power to fine the overspreading buses.Even speed breakers at such points will help a lot.The driver was speaking on mobile while driving, and he was least bothered as to what had happened. If this was the case in Bamgalore or mysore he would be thrashed and left with 25% life.Let the owner of the bus made to shell out 15 lakhs for each life lost.At least things would straighten in the future.Heartfelt sympathies for the families of the deceased.

These 15 number buses are real killers always flying on the roads. The eyewitness says the driver of the bus was speaking on his mobile. So he did not even know he had banged into the bike and continued driving. And after he gets down instead of attending on the injured, he is still on his mobile contacting his bus owner. For him to go bribe the Police and realease the bus to do business by afternoon again. These drivers should be deprived of a driving license. Really sad two young lives lost. Who can repay the loss of the parents.

dear everyone who commented on this report. what everyone want to say. Drivers fault/ two wheelers fault/ RTO or authorities not taking any actions/ bribe. To be frank what exactly we are doing. At the end we are doing the same Not following traffic rules. It's not anyone's fault. I just request everyone follow the rules, and stay safe on the road. You want to reach early , but what abt others? Think do you want reach early by putting yours' and others' life at risk. One simple answer can save lots of life. Nothing will change no matter either we were on 10 th century orwe are in the 21st century still or we will in the 30th century.

To my surprise small vehicles like Tata Ace, Mahindra Maximo or Piaggio are asked to install Speed Governors before the passing of vehicles. These vehicles can barely do 50KMPH. Whereas monstrous buses do not require speed governors. Now where is the sense in RTO? First, let RTO make it mandatory to install 50KMPH governors on all Yellow board vehicles except interstate buses. That way at least 100 lives will be saved in a year in DK and Udupi Districts alone. Secondly, Issuing license should become more tougher than getting a medical degree. Because, we need safe and perfect drivers on roads and not murderers. Please tell me if I am wrong.

I don't give a s**t to your opinion. Both my cousins were waiting besides the road. The driver was on his phone and in an hurry without giving an indication he turned the bus with one hand. The middle portion of the bus hammered on to the bike and my cousin Manoj flewed some distance away from the bike and lost his life on spot.During which the driver grazed his bus wheels on my another cousin Rakshit who fell on road with bike on his stomach...So for your convience both my cousins were not riding the bike, and all this happened because of that ba***d driver. And you are no one to tell that driver shouldnt be blamed even after not knowing anything detail in actual.Anyways driver tho vo buri maut marega,as in intne logonke aansu hi usse kaafi hai....RIP my brothers..you will always stay in our heart...love you both

Ohh very said ....RTO should take serious action immediately and start Government bus and stop city bus..even I had accident same place few month back. Alvaris Rodlines ( Lobo ) bus No 3 .( KA-19 33 ) Bus come wrong said and hit my bike. grace of god nothing happened for me but my new bike fully damaged. But in police station, bus company manger requested me to not file FIR and he agrees to give money for bike repair my bike a total repair cost will be 26000 and I got 16000 from the insurance company. Later I contacted the bus owner and requested to give my balance amount, but he was too rude and refused to pay money. Any how, my point of view is RTO know that most of bus driver not following traffic rules, but still not taking any action because bus owners paying haftha so RTO is sleeping without any worries. The government should implement Saudi rules so that we can avoid accidents and save other life

There are a few buses on particular routes were there are Govt. buses, you are really safe in these Govt. city bus, they do not speed or are in a mood to race.
