Mangalore, Apr 15: The district BJP on Tuesday April 15 wound up its campaign for the Lok Sabha elections with a rally led by candidate Nalin Kumar Kateel.

The rally was flagged off at Kudroli and passed through New Chitra Talkies, Car Street, GHS Road, Hampankatta, and culminated at the old bus stand where a public meeting was held.

Addressing the gathering, Nalin Kumar Kateel said, "We need a Congress-free India, and hence all should support BJP. Vote for BJP and make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister of India."

Waxing eloquent about BJP PM nominee Narendra Modi, he said, "In each and every corner of India we hear only one name - that of Modi. We don't need to give examples, everyone knows what he is. I have full faith that he will become the PM of India."

Drawing comparisons between former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Modi, he said, "Today Modi is ruling the same way Vajpayee used to rule. Vajpayee is a great personality and Modi is following in his footsteps."

He said that if BJP wins, it will stop Yettinahole river diversion and Niddodi power projects. "We will throw Congress out of India," he declared.

"Due to Congress rule, Mangalore has become a place for terrorists, but BJP will make it a tourist hub. Give me one more chance and I will make Mangalore a better place," he urged.

District president of BJP Pratap Simha said, "This is the last day for campaigning and the last election for Congress candidate Janardhan Poojary. Every person dreams of bringing about a change in the country and in the government system, and Modi is going to do that. Manmohan Singh did not have the freedom to sign even a single document; he needed Sonia Gandhi's permission. Even the officials who were with Manmohan Singh have revealed it. We are bringing Modi to bring a change in the country."

Former MLA Yogish Bhat said that since the past one year Congress has been 'warming the bench' and not doing any work, and that it won't do any in future too. "Many projects are yet to be completed but the Congress government has not released a single rupee for them," he added.

Rukmayya Poojary said, "April 17 is the day that will decide the fate of Congress. I request people to support BJP. Congress has indulged in a lot of corruption and spoiled the government machinery. God given resources which are meant for people have been exploited by the Congress. This time when I went around for campaigning people said they do not want to make the mistake of voting for Congress again.

We are not fighting for one man but for the country. Congress should cease to exist and never win any election in future."

Former minister Kota Srinivas Poojary said this election would change the future of India and give the country more security. "Reduction in taxes and control on inflation can be achieved only by the BJP. Congress is here only to increase prices and tax rates. Modi has love towards the country and the people. J P Hegde and Janardhan Poojary have criticized the BJP many times. What did they do for the country? Today areca farmers are facing problems, if Congress bans areca 5,000 people will suffer," he said.

Srikar Prabhu, N B Abubakker, Rajesh Nayak, Monappa Bhandary, Sulochana Bhat, Rajgopal Rai, G K Prabhu, Nagaraj Shetty, and Sharan Pumpwell were present.

Udupi, Apr 15: "Congress government failed to provide good governance in 10 years. It is supporting

terrorism. Counterfeit currency is flowing from Pakisthan to India. Congress is lacking patriotism. The

soldiers in boarders are beheaded they don’t have protection and security for their life. Narendra Modi has

the power to change the future of the country. This election is like a third world war," said BJP MP candidate Shobha Karandlaje.

She was addressing the public rally near Chintaranjan circle here on Tuesday April 15. The rally commenced from Malpe Gandhi circle, proceeded through Kalmadi-Karavali-Junction-Bananje, City Bus Stand- Kalsanthe-Gundibail-Doddanna Gude- Parmpalli- Manipal-MIT-Sarale Bettu-Parakala- Manipal- Indrali- MGM- Diana Theatre-Bedina Gudde-Amani Ramani Road- Taluk Office-Kinni Mulki-KM Circle, Clock tower and ended at Chitaranjan circle.

Sunil Kumar MLA said, "Modi should become the PM. People irrespective of religion, caste, creed and sect should vote him. The country is facing inflation because of UPA’s rule. Karnataka is going through low economic growth compared to Gujarat."

On this occasion Raghupati Bhat, Thingale Vikramarjuna Hegde, Kuthiyaru Naveen Shetty and others were present.

he rarely visits kudroli temple !
being a billava if poojary asks for billava votes then it becomes an issue, but any other people doing it is fine ?

Vote for a good, honest, non-communal MP, if you really want stability and progress!

We have to recommend Nalin Kumar Shetty for Vice Prime Minister if Modi becomes Prime Minister.because he said Modi will follow the footstep of Vajapayee. But Modi not stepped down when Vajapayee asked him to follow rajadharma. Secondly, he told he will stop Yettina hole project but before that he has to throw Sadananda Gowda into Yettina Hole river one who started this project. He has not told what he has done for last five years but he is promissing what he can do in next five years. We need such energy leaders to lead Buddu Mangalorians.

That means, he has no self-confidence & have no achievements in his credit to show to the voters.

Ismail Bhai, which Party is communal, who is moral, what is secular and who is supporting whom, these all things already known to entire Indian in particular and entire World in general? As long as likely minded people like you support CONGiss, we can’t vote for other than BJP…. Looking at the present scenario and situation created by none other than CONGiss, we vote for BJP by default not by choice………

Congis are backing these Lower Class thughs.Releasing these criminals without punishment and Rewarding by Victory march, Band, Garlands. Where is Lobo, Oscar , Rai, Pujari Moily, Nalin , Batta ? After Congis took over, Moral Policing increased,Bangalore Day train goes to Kerala. Increased our Property tax and betrayed us. Not a single Conviction in Church Attack, Pub, Home stay assault, attempted rape, Molestation,in Parks, beach's, Ice cream Parlours , Udupi Cattle traders Father Son Attacked and paraded nacked and the attackers are roaming freely,Seniors, Nuns were assulted and couple of them lost Eye sight. For 65 yrs Congis used us for winning elections, did not Convict a single Case.

Why We have such a in-efficient Prosecution? Congi's R not even ready to file a case against Kulai Corporaters molesters. @ least AAP has guts to Challenge these Dynastic Feku /Pappu .

Chatu Congi's R supporting these lower class thugs and blaming BJP, thats why no Conviction even though We have Congi Govt . We need change and this is the chance for us to elect a Accountable , Non Corrupt Govt. And efficient Police force, efficient Prosecution.
We Need Unbiased, NON Corrupt Justice system.Vote with your Brain, Its now or never. Its our Kid's future. Come out of this filth. Moral Policing, Corruption,Price rise is the biggest problem.RS. 2000 salaried Shoba became 133 Acres Estate Owner.
