Muscat, Mar 30: The splendour of Kudla is set to come alive in Muscat with a unique Tulu programme 'Tulu Parba' (Tulu fest) featuring ace music director Guru Kiran, followed by a mega comedy show ‘Bale Thelipaale’ by team Prashamsa and a power packed dance performance by popular DID star Kishore Aman and his troupe.
'Tulu Parba', entirely a Tulu-based programme, is the first of its kind in Muscat and will aim to enthrall the lovers of the language. The event is designed by Guru Kiran and Dr Shiv Sharan, the managing director of ‘Namma TV’.
The mega event, to be held on Thursday April 3 is being organized by ‘Kudla Friends, Muscat’ at Grand Hall, Al Falaj Hotel, Ruwi-Muscat; a venue with a capacity of 1200.
Guru Kiran, the renowned music director of Kannada films is scheduled to perform in the Middle East starting with Muscat, followed by a musical tour in an endeavour to celebrate ‘Tulu Parba’.
A much feted star and music director, Guru Kiran is a treat to watch during his live performances. He is a versatile singer and composer who can satisfy the musical yearning of all age groups and genres, the numerous awards for his contribution being a testimony to his talent. Having conducted and staged numerous mega shows across the world, he will now be performing exclusively to enthrall the audiences of Muscat. To accompany and compliment Guru Kiran’s musical performances, the scintillating Nayana who has a mesmerizing voice will be sharing the stage.
‘Kudla Friends-Muscat’ has always believed in giving a little more in whatever it executes, ensuring that no one leaves the venue unsatisfied and to underline this objective, this Tulu musical show will not only entertain with pure musical jubilation but will also have the extra spell of a thorough Tulu humour-filled comedy show par excellence performed by ‘Prashamsa’ team of ‘Bale Thelipaale’ fame, followed by an extravagant dance performance by the renowned celebrity dancer from Kishore Aman and his team; flown all the way to Muscat.
‘Bale Telipaale’, a hugely popular comedy contest, organized by NammaTV and Shasthavu Sri Bhoothanatheshwara Temple, Mangalore, is a highly acclaimed show and has a huge fan following owing to its rib-tickling episodes which have recorded over 35,00,000 plus unique hits on YouTube.
The live show of ‘Bale Telipaale’ held in Dubai, UAE is the largest ever show conducted for the Tulu audience outside India till date and now Muscat is all set to raise the bar to the next level through a live stage show with an all new concept. Muscat Tuluvas will have the privilege to watch ‘Prashamsa’, an acclaimed comedy team who are the winners of ‘Bale Telipaale Season -1’, and of ‘Kudala Telipule show’ conducted by Namma TV, performing live. The success and talent of this team has catapulted them to numero uno position in standup comedy in coastal Karnataka. They will be sharing the stage with Guru Kiran to entertain the crowd, performing select and new episodes of 'Bale Telipaale’ exclusively for Muscat audiences on April 3.
South Indian dance sensation, our very own Kudlite Kishore Aman hailing from Mangalore, the finalist of ‘Dance India Dance’, Zee TV’s all-India dance contest, will entertain the crowd with a dynamic dance performance. Kishore Aman was well appreciated and applauded by several celebrities including Disco King Mithun Chakravarthy, Big B Amitabh Bachchan and popular actor Salman Khan for his dance styles, especially the hip hop and B-boying styles which are his favorite dance forms. He has also mastered martial arts skills. His passion for dance brought him recognition andfame and also scored him roles in numerous feature films thus showcasing his acting skills.
