Los Angeles, March 20 (IANS): Actor-director Woody Allen will be seen on the big screen in a full-fledged role after eight years.
Allen, who is otherwise known to make cameo appearances in his own films, will be seen in "Fading Gigolo" with Hollywood's two appealing actresses Sharon Stone and Sofia Vergara.
In the movie, he plays the role of Murray who encourages his friend Fioravante, played by John Turturro, to become a male escort in the pursuit of making money, said a statement.
Allen has rarely acted in a movie which is not directed by him in the past two decades. Making "Fading Gigolo" is a truly anticipated release.
It is a dramedy film directed by Turturro.
