Mumbai, Jun 5: A special court in Mumbai will hear actor Fardeen Khan's petition in a case of cocaine possession.
Fardeen has said in his petition that he was buying just one gram of cocaine when the Narcotics Control Bureau arrested him.
The police in their chargesheet have said they arrested the actor when he was buying cocaine from a dealer Naseer Abdul Karreem Khan and recovered nine grams of cocaine.
Fardeen is hoping the court accepts his petition and the version of events.
Possession of one gram of cocaine attracts a six-month jail sentence whereas possession of two grams or more can lead to a jail term of 10 years or even more.
