Neeta Lulla's linen line colourful, contemporary

Mumbai, March 8 (IANS): Designer Neeta Lulla, who has crafted a luxury linen collection 'Saat Phere' for a home fashion brand, says the line is full of colours which complement the Indian bridal trousseau.

The line is for Portico New York.

"It is a perfect blend of classic styles with a contemporary touch. I've tried to play with colours and light to cater to a wide range of preferences," Lulla said in a statement.

"Hopefully, this collection will help discerning fashion conscious brides-to-be, to find the ultimate home décor compliment to their trousseau for the most special period of their lives," added the designer, who is amongst one of Bollywood's favourite.

'Saat Phere' reflects Lulla's signature style and she transcribed the core essence of the Indian weddings into exquisite designs for Portico New York.

She has created bed linen sets with two pillow covers and 2 cushion covers, duvet covers, comforters and bed covers.

They draw inspiration from traditional aesthetics with classic Baroque reinterpreted to exhibit a modern style.

"Delicate feminine forms in rich royal colours like deep burgundy, royal blue, burnt gold and deep brown makes this collection the perfect complement to the Indian bridal trousseau," read the statement.

The collection is priced at Rs.6,999 onwards.
