Payal Rohatgi: Sangram is my man

"Ever since I met Sangram Singh, I am at peace with myself," says actress Payal Rohatgi who took her three-year-old relationship with the wrestler to the next level recently.

The got engaged on Thursday at a simple ceremony in Ahmedabad in the presence of Payal's parents. Sangram's parents were conspicuous by their absence.

Said Payal: "The 'sagaai' (engagement) was a simple ceremony. Sangram is a simple man with high moral values."

She credits Sangram, who featured in reality show "Bigg Boss - Saath 7", for bringing stability into her life.

"Ever since I met Sangram I am at peace with myself. I am glad I have found a partner who is a man of his word. He is humble, mature and a terrific human being," said the actress who was part of "Bigg Boss" season two. She was also seen in films like "Corporate" and "36 China Town".

The two will get married this winter. "The shaadi (marriage) will hopefully happen in November or December 2014. Sangram is the man for me. Of that I am sure," she added.

What about the two being such different human beings? Would they be able to have a successful marriage?

"I guess god has his own plans for all of us. And I trust His decision. He always does what's best for me," said Payal.
