Los Angeles, Feb 28 (IANS): It seems actor Jared Leto's long and lustrous ombre locks are hard to manage.
His hair stylist Chase Kusero says the biggest challenge is to do his hair in a way that he doesn't look like a woman, reports dailymail.co.uk.
"It’s really important that he doesn’t look like a woman - that's the biggest challenge," Kusero told Into The Gloss.
The celebrity hair dresser says that he doesn't want to cut Leto's hair for the 86th Accademy Awards appearance.
"(Jared and I) were going to shock everybody and show up for the Academy Awards with a haircut, but it’s looking so good that we don’t really want to cut it," Kusero said admitting, which style he's gravitating towards.
"The only thing I can say is that right now I'm all about the wet look," he said.
Leto has been nominated in the best actor in a supporting role for "Dallas Buyers Club".
Kusero said he want want to do something with "a side part this time, something cleaner."
"And I want to try to get a bun that’s nice and small, more like a traditional knot. The pony-bun press was kind of funny-I don’t know if he liked all that or not. We both agree that it has to look like something he would do himself," he added.
Leto sported a pony-bun at the 71st Golden Globe Awards, where he was honoured with the best actor in a supporting role award for his role as Rayon, an AIDS-infected transgender drug addict in "Dallas Buyers Club".
