Tulu movie 'Telikeda Bolli' screened in Kuwait

Kuwait, Feb 23: Adding another feather to its crowning glory, Tulu Koota Kuwait successfully organized the screening of the first Tulu film in Kuwait at Ajial Theatre, Faheel, on February 21, which ran houseful with an enthusiastic film audience lining up patiently for tickets.

This historic event was the first event of this year and TKK has crossed a new mile stone. It was held as a quest to promote Tulu language and culture across the world, under the leadership of the president Tharendra P Shettigar.

While speaking a few words before the commencement of the movie, he thanked everyone present there for their support and all the committee members for their excellent teamwork.

The Tulu comedy film “Telikeda Bolli” with rib-tickling comedy punches was well directed by T H. Vishwanath, starring Arjun Kapikad and Ashritha Shetty. The star cast was supported by well-known Tulu drama artists Devdas Kapikad, Navin D Padil, Bhojraj Vamanjoor and others, who very well managed to captivate the audience attention, all through the film. The movie was based on Kapikad's hit drama 'Gantethand'.

A Jam-packed crowd enjoyed the movie, which with its rib tickling comedy was a total entertainment package to the ones present.

The audience enjoyed the movie thoroughly and gave excellent positive comments after watching the film. As the audience was interviewed, most of them said that it was very enjoyable to see a Tulu film together and said that it was ‘super-duper’ movie.
