London, Feb 21 (IANS): Pop star Dougie Poynter has denied a romantic relationship with singer Ellie Goulding .
The "McBusted" star has now attempted to play down speculations that the two are dating, reports mirror.co.uk.
During a chat on "The Jonathan Ross Show", Poynter was asked to comment on his relationship with Goulding.
He said: "We're friends."
The two are often seen out together, and they even looked cosy at the recent London Fashion Week Storm Models party.
