Mumbai, May 26: Bar dancers will perfome stage shows here next month to raise funds for 'Youth for Equality', a Delhi-based organization, to fight against the Centre's reservation policy.

Bar Owners' Association president Manjit Singh Sethi said here on Thursday the shows will be organized in Mumbai to raise fundS for those fighting against reservation policy of the union government.

After performing in Mumbai, they have planned to organise shows in rural areas in the country for the cause, Mr Sethi added.

"We have experience how much funds are needed for fighting a cause, when we fought up to the Supreme Court for lifting of ban on bar dancers. Now, whatever profit would come from the show will be given to youths,'' he said, and added that he was expecting to raise Rs four to five lakh per show.

The association will also launch a signature campaign in Mumbai in support of medicos and IIT students against the government's proposed 27 per cent reservation for OBC students in higher education.
