Panaji, Feb 16 (TNN): Goa Forgiving, a trust based in Panaji, will organize a programme for aged persons at Mother Teresa's Home in Panaji, today. "The concept of 'The Power of Love', which is consciously timed as a post-Valentine's day programme, hopes to bridge the gap of love and give love to people who deserve it the most," Edson Martins, trust director, said.
Dr Martins' dance academy students and Varun Carvalho have lined-up to perform for the aged. Aam Aadmi Party members will support the event by holding a sweeping rally starting at 9.30am. Revving Peace Makers, a biking club, which was launched on February 14 will also ride to Mother Teresa's Home with a message to spread love and peace.
Armando Gonsalves of Goa Forgiving spoke about the heightened level of hatred and negative sentiments on social media sites across Goa and how they can be dangerous in a democratic country.
