Udupi, Feb 15: In an incident suspected to be related to the VHP-Bajrang Dal protest held at Brahmavar on Saturday February 15, a group of five persons vandalised the office of district incharge minister Vinay Kumar Sorake the same evening at Hiriadka here.
It is said that among the group of five, four are identified as Prasad Kondari, Santosh Kondari, Sujith Kondari, and Prajwal.
The four of them allegedly smashed Sorake's name plate, threw it on the ground and stamped it. The miscreants also pulled out the shutters and used abusive language to criticise Sorake, it is learnt.
A complaint in this regard was filed by Prashant Kumar, who works at Sorake's office.
Sources said that the five of them were Bajrang Dal activists and that their attack was related to the protest held earlier in the day at Brahmavar to demand release of Goraksha Dal chief Dinesh Mendon.
