Dubai: Packed audience witness 'Nirel' movie premiere

Dubai, Feb 14: 'Nirel' a Tulu movie based on a love story, produced by Shodhan Prasad's Sandhya Creations, and directed by Ranjt Bajpe succesfully premiered at Golden Cinema, Bur Dubai on Valentine's Day, Friday, February 14 in the presence of a packed audience of 1,500.
The much-awaited movie, considered the first international Tulu movie, fully shot in Dubai, has earned appreciation from the audience. 'Nirel' team has put in sincere efforts in giving a professional touch to the movie.
Varuna Shetty who plays the lead female role as Rashmi, as well as Deepti Salian who plays the role of Shweta outperformed all the other artistes in the movie. Anoop Sagar, Deepak Paladka, Sachin Padil, Subash Bangera, Rajendra Pai and other actors have done justice to thier roles.
A highlight of the movie was top class music directed by Abhishek S N. Singers like Akshata Rao, Abhishek, Shilpa, Pramod, Shivkumar and Harish Sherigar rendered their melodious voices to the songs. The selection of shooting locations made the movie a pleasant visual experience.
Earlier, a symbolic inauguration of the movie was done by guests of the day Padmashree Dr B R Shetty, Ronald Colaco, Fr Cyprian Dsouza, Capuchin, Mangalore, Sudhir Shetty, Sarvotham Shetty, Praveen Shetty, Herman Lewis, Ronald Pinto, Shekar Shetty and others. The guests spoke on the occasion and wished all the success to the producers and the entire crew and cast associated with the movie.
The second show was at 2 pm at the same location. According to the producers, 'Nirel' will be released in Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Mangalore, Bangalore and Mumbai in the coming days.
