Iglesias, Minogue stand united over song release plan

Los Angeles, Feb 10 (IANS): Singer Enrique Iglesias and Kylie Minogue are involved in a bitter battle over plans to release their duet "Beautiful", but thankfully the singers are on the same side. It's their record labels that are at war.

Iglesias is signed with Universal Music Group label's Universal Republic and Minogue with Parlophone.

"I'm hoping the duet will be released as the next single, but I know there's been a few problems between the record companies because she is on a different label," dailystar.co.uk quoted Iglesias as saying.

"It's all politics. There was a moment when the record companies were fighting back and forth, but in the end Kylie and I spoke and we will make it happen. The plan is to shoot a video in March," he added.
