Los Angeles, Feb 8 (IANS): Supermodel Miranda Kerr's family has revealed she has been estranged for "over a year" and have begged her to visit them in her native Australia.

Kerr, who split from actor Orlando Bloom last October after three years of marriage, cut off contact with her father John, mother Therese, brother Matthew and grandmother Ann following a bitter feud early last year, reports contactmusic.com.

The family exposed the cracks in its relationship with the supermodel for the first time, making an emotional public plea to the 30-year-old to visit with her three-year-old son Flynn in a new episode of the Australian docudrama series, “Family Confidential,” set to air on the country's ABC1 channel Feb 11.

Therese, who moved on from her role as the managing director of Miranda's Kora skincare range in February 2013 and used to speak to her every day, also penned a ''love letter'' to her daughter on the show.
