I think in the chikodi constituency Ramesh quote will be a strong candidate for this election, and congress is trying very hard to get a candidate to match his stature, congress has to look at a candidate who has been loyal and capable, and from the list of probables I think Mr Omprakesh Kanagali is the best suitable one as he has been loyal and capable to drive. I think its very important to look at the candidate and party equally as both the parties have good, capable candidates.

Some of these old congress leaders at their ages 30s or 40s sacrificed their lives for us when they first became MPS of india. Probably their task is slightly incomplete in making india a corrupt free country and that's why they have come again for asking your help in their ripe age of late 70s almost 40 years service against corruption. A great effort to travel from Karnataka to delhi at the age of 80!

Nalin Kumar needs to learn at least one more language besides, tulu, if he wants to win (no problem even if it is tamil, beary, konkani or malayalam, as he is really finding English and Hindi to be difficult languages to learn. Even tuition classes might not help!).

We need to stop mixing religion with politics and must vote for a candidate who will truly represent Mangalore in the parliament.

Mr. Ramesh, plz kindly read National news first before commenting. You want actions from AAP led Delhi govt ... that to within a month for everything. And all issues that they promised. They are surely delivering in some of them. It will take time for a newcomer. What about our National parties that promised a lot in the past decades for Mangalore in particular. Yes, they took a lot of time to concretize roads, but without footpaths. Monorail is under the carpet, Signal lights with timers are not working, Traffic police are diverted for other duties as the ruling govt or next, do not want to fill vacancies and want to see more deaths on our roads…24 hour water/electricity are rare . Dams to supply drinking water for the public are missing deadlines. But water dams by Industries are finished and are already utilized by them. Now they are fighting over river bifurcation. Kadri park has a walkway utilized by a lot of people for health reasons, but now their main concern is to look down and not straight as there are many craters on this walkway. Funds are being allotted by both state and Centre both for rural and urban areas in the guise of development / Roads/ Education / Minority / Panchayats. All are unfinished and are waiting for reality of the promises made….C’mon readers should comment more for whatever they see from our BOSSES our PAST and FUTURE POLITICAL PARTIES.

    Mr.Labret,

No one undermines need for fight against corruption. But that cannot be the sole criteria to get elected, it is equally important to govern. That's where AAP fails.

In a democratic situation, you can not keep hurling abuses against everyone and get results. They are against Governor, employees, traders & even in one instance of court judgement against their law minister (tampering evidence) Mr.Kejriwal had the audacity to tell Court is wrong.

You are right, they are new & need time. Then why don't they learn in Delhi (unfortunately at the cost of Delhi) and branch out. Instead, they want to make mess of India.

Mr. Kejriwal supports his (un)Law Minister to hilt. AAP is supported by Bhushans with the contribution of over Rs.1.00 Crore, so no problem about ceding Kashmir..for public sake they disagree, but can not suspend Bhushan they way the suspended Binny.....& so on.

What is surprising is intelligent, educated, well informed are closing their eyes.

    We need good governance.
