Ajman: U T Khadar to grace BCF Sports Festival on Feb 7

Ajman, Feb 5: Bearys Cultural Forum, BCF, on behalf of all Bearys and Kannadigas living in UAE, will felicitate U T Khadar, minister of health and family welfare, Karnataka, during the grand 'BCF Sports Festival 2014' to be held at Gulf Medical University Ground, Ajman on February 7.

In commemoration of its 10th anniversary, BCF will conduct this sports festival with grandeur and celebration. A number of guests of honour - U T Khadar, Thumbay Moideen,, MD-Gulf Medical University-Ajman Abdussalam Puthige, chief editor of Vartha Bharati, Mumtaz Ali, chairman, Badriya Educational Institutions-Krishnapura, Asif AMACO, entrepreneur-KSA, M K Beary, president-DKSC and representatives of various social organizations are expected to attend. The program will be chaired by BCF president Dr B K Yusuf.

Adding to the thrill of this great event, a wide variety of cultural programmes of Karnataka and the Beary community, and sports for men, ladies and children are to enthrall the gala gathering. Apart from the usual events like cricket, volleyball, football, cookery competition, biriyani festival,  kabaddi, running races, lagori, badminton,  relay, shot put, tug of war,  etc, additional events like march-past competition, mehendi design, ethnic Beary food presentation, duff, Beary songs, and a wide variety of vivid competitions for kids and ladies are included.

On the occasion, BCF will offer financial aid to a number of deserving needy students who excel in sports.

Buffet dinner along with snacks and refreshments will be served.

BCF sports committee chairman Saleem Altaf, on behalf of BCF has cordially invited all Kannadigas with their families and friends and representatives of all Karnataka-based organizations to attend and enjoy this cheerful, eventful and fun filled combo of cultural bonding and social brotherhood.
