Mangalore Airport should be renamed as GOLDEN AIRPORT OF INDIA!!!

Kasargod and Bhatkal people should have separate passports to enter Mangalore in future for easy catch of gold smugglers.

Just catching carriers of gold is not enough as there could be some involvement of terrorist funding involved! Why always people from Kasargod or Bhatkal from one community are involved in this racket is the big question mark!

Congress or BJP, please construct a new international airport at Kasargod. Let all these non-sense individuals go and land there and not Mangalore.
While they are giving case studies to the customs officers, Mangalores names are spoiling in the process.

We cannot rate the customs officials as intelligent, our Passengers are fools, making mistakes knowing the fact that they don't allow Gold to be smuggled to India.

The customs officials are watching, no matter how canny you think your activities are. And if you are ever forced to transport your personal assets, be they gold, food or the like, spend time to take multiple trips if at all possible instead of putting all your eggs in one basket and getting caught.

It seems Mangalore custom officers having an informer in Dubai
Most of time gold seized only from Dubai flight. Why not Kuwait, Oman, Doha, or Bahrain flights?
As you know these informer will get 20% reward money of gold value from Custom.
Might be these informer have contact with salesman who is working in a gold shop in Dubai.
These salesmen giving information about those customers who is buying gold in bulk.
In Jan 2014, Mangalore custom officers seized gold valued at Rs 106.34 lac.
Means informer reward money Rs 21,26,800 per month.
    50:50 informer and salesman..!

Soon there will be a separate immigration counter for kasargod birth place pp holders.......... now 2 questions arise... 1. Despite knowing why Kasargod residents take risk 2. Police are just lenient they just show for the publicity of their effective control...then they leave the person giving back the god taking some money. Otherwise, why every twice a week Kasargod resident is caught...somewhere something is in the loop...
